The Montreal police arson squad is investigating a fire Sunday morning at a restaurant in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
Police spokesperson Véronique Comtois said a 911 call was made around 6:30 a.m. concerning a fire on Henri-Bourassa Blvd.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which seriously damaged the building but did not cause any injuries.
A possible incendiary object was spotted at the scene, Comtois said, and the file was transferred to the arson squad.
