Police seek suspect in break-ins in Hintonburg, Fairmont Park and Centretown West

City police are asking for tips to identify a man alleged to be linked to a string of break and enters to homes in the Hintonburg, Fairmont Park, and Centretown West neighbourhoods.

There have been 10 incidents since Dec. 9, the Ottawa Police Service said in a release Thursday.

The suspect is described as a white man standing six feet tall (183 centimetres) with a medium build.

In one incident, he wore a black North Face hooded coat, tan pants, grey Timberland boots and a black face mask, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the break and enter unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4533.
