Streets are closed in the Golden Triangle area as Ottawa police conduct an operation and investigation on Cartier Street Monday.

There was no danger to the public and police won’t be releasing further information so as to not jeopardize the operation, the service said.

The force said just before noon that Cartier Street was closed between Gilmour Street and Somerset Street West, and MacLaren Street was closed between Elgin and MacDonald streets.
