Omnicom Group Inc., a global media, marketing, and communications holding company, announced on Dec. 1 its new strategic plans and executive leadership following the finalization of its acquisition of Interpublic Group of Companies Inc.
However, the $13 billion deal comes with a cost of 4,000 staff reductions and a reshuffling of legacy advertising agencies within its total portfolio.
An Omincom spokesperson told The Epoch Times that the job cuts have already been taking place since October and will continue through the end of December.
