North Carolina Gubernatorial Candidate Mark Robinson Treated for 2nd-Degree Burns

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson received treatment for second-degree burns after an unspecified incident at a campaign event in Mount Airy on Sept. 27, his campaign said on Friday.
Robinson, the GOP nominee for governor in North Carolina, sustained burns during a campaign appearance at the Mayberry Truck Show in Mount Airy, his campaign communications director Mike Lonergan said in a statement provided to The Epoch Times.
Lonergan said the Republican candidate was treated at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy for second-degree burns but will continue his gubernatorial campaign as scheduled.
“He is in good spirits, appreciates the outpouring of well wishes, and is excited to return to the campaign trail as scheduled first thing tomorrow morning,” Lonergan stated….
