ACTON, Calif.—A security guard aboard a Metrolink train was stabbed and Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies took a suspect into custody, authorities said Monday.
The stabbing was reported at 9:57 p.m. Sunday at the Vincent Grade train station in Acton, according to LASD Deputy Tracy Koerner.
The security guard intervened when the suspect was trying to fight with passengers, Koerner said.
The security guard asked the suspect to exit the train and the suspect cut the guard on one finger with a utility knife, he said.
