Amazon Prime members in the United States can now benefit from fuel savings at numerous gas stations, the company said in an Oct. 23 statement.
Prime members can save $0.10 per gallon at about 7,000 locations operated by BP, Amoco, and ampm, which could lead to an average annual saving of nearly $70 per member, the company said.
The initiative is part of Amazon’s ongoing efforts to expand the range of benefits available to its Prime members. Membership currently includes services such as free shipping and access to various entertainment options.
