Vice President Kamala Harris is in “excellent health,” her physician said in a letter summarizing her medical history publicized by the White House.
Dr. Joshua Simmons, who has been seeing Harris for the past three-and-a-half years, concluded in the letter released Saturday that 59-year-old Democrat “possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.”
Harris has seasonal allergies and urticaria, a skin condition commonly known as hives which shows up as raised, itchy red bumps on the skin. She has been managing her allergies with over-the-counter allergy medication and for the past three years has been on allergy immune therapy, which Simmons said has reduced the symptoms “dramatically” to the point that she no longer needs regular medication….
