Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has filed to run for reelection in 2026, according to the Federal Election Commission. Pelosi, whose district covers San Francisco, has been in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1987. She was speaker of the House twice: from 2007 to 2011 and from 2019 to 2023.
President-elect Donald Trump has picked his former rival in the presidential campaign, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, to lead the Department of the Interior.
