CULVER CITY, Calif.—A trailer of gifts stolen last month from a charity was recovered just in time for the holidays and a suspect is in custody, authorities said Thursday.
On Nov. 22, police discovered that Walk ‘n Rollers, a non-profit focusing on child safety, had a trailer of items stolen intended as gifts for the holidays, according to the Culver City Police Department.
“Investigators knew locating the trailer would prove difficult, but they dug in and got to work. A few weeks later, the work paid off. Thanks to the diligent work of detectives, there was a break in the case. An arrest was made, and the trailer was recovered,” the department reported on a social media post….
