Last interview of 2024 and the team of P.E.R.S.O.N.A.L.I.T.I.E.S. chose two very distinct artistic personalities, Irini and Alexander just before the close of the year. The good news of Christmas is that even when the world or our circumstances change – the message of Christmas is timeless. We live in difficult years characterized by adverse conditions, wars, impoverishment, unrestrained technological progress and an emotional lack of expression of feelings. A song comes like a magic eraser through the melody to erase the bad moments and take us to the world of offering the best through caring and love. Beautiful rhythm, nice bright smiles and the tree of joy is full of bright faces that take us back to other times.
Love, Love and joy fulfilled moments’ with our beloved ones. Exactly this the meaning of the new Christmas song of Irine Androutsou and Alexander Efstathiou. Love in action and to bring a global awareness about our social solidatity from human to human and from heart to heart.
I have spent 3 hour’s of a real communication, eating traditional marrons’ and drinking mountain tea and later on wine of Samos like they used to do in antiquity by the Greek Symposium’s.

How did you feel as a musician when you saw the lyrics? How when you heard it interpreted and what images did you see?
When I was at the piano playing the piece with the thought in English verse, listening to Irene sing it in Greek verse, I let her words take me away. Absolutely magically I continued to play following her performance as if we had already rehearsed it several times and it came out effortlessly the first time.
As I played the piano and she sang, out of nowhere, tender images began to come to me of a couple mingling in the midst of the holidays, moving forward in life, and now living moments of family happiness with their children and friends. Santa Claus also appears somewhere there, where he also wanted to spend family moments, spending New Year’s Eve with the family to whom he went to offer gifts, although in the end he did not eat the gingerbread, in the end he was welcomed with joy and enthusiasm by the family and they even played 31 and won them over.
How did you feel as a lyricist when you heard the music and what emotions did you feel when you first heard it? Where did the words take you back in time and what secret passages did the music take you to?
The emotions I felt as a lyricist when I first heard it were joy, excitement, childishness, warmth, spontaneity and anticipation for the most beautiful time of the year and when I first heard it I felt an original musical hearing as it marries many different genres of music.
As a performer I was filled with human emotions that we have all experienced in the past or are experiencing in the present. The lyrics as well as the script of the video clip capture for me the 2 contradictory emotions that the average person can feel during the holidays. On the one hand, melancholy when the person has no company or family and on the other sudden joy when he is surrounded by other people and the joy is shared. So this joy and spontaneous excitement took me back to the most tender & unadulterated age when I was a child and saw the world through the prism of a child’s purity and innocence. The special note offered by the reggaeton element combined with our Mediterranean culture made me dance to it immediately. I really feel so blessed for this awesome team work result!
