Charges have been filed against two officers of a Vancouver Island police department in connection with the sexual assault of a woman investigators described as “vulnerable.”
A criminal investigation was launched on Oct. 28, at the request of Central Saanich Police Service, after receiving a complaint that two officers allegedly engaged in unlawful sexual contact with a woman while on duty, Vancouver Police said in a press release.
