Πνίγηκαν δύο παιδιά σε ναυάγιο στη Μάλτα. 17 μετανάστες διασώθηκαν

Δεκαεπτά μετανάστες διασώθηκαν από ναυάγιο στη Μεσόγειο, ενώ δύο παιδιά έχασαν τη ζωή τους, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα η γερμανική ΜΚΟ Sea Punks.

Η διάσωση πραγματοποιήθηκε τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες σήμερα στην μαλτέζικη ζώνη έρευνας και διάσωσης, ανέφερε η ΜΚΟ σε ανακοίνωσή της.

Ένα παιδί ανασύρθηκε νεκρό, ενώ το πλήρωμα των γιατρών της Sea Punks πραγματοποίησε καρδιοπνευμονική αναζωογόνηση σε δύο άλλα παιδιά, διασώζοντας το ένα.

Ελικόπτερο διάσωσης της Μάλτας απομάκρυνε μια έγκυο γυναίκα και έναν σοβαρά τραυματισμένο άνδρα, ενώ πλοιάριο της ιταλικής ακτοφυλακής παρέλαβε τους άλλους 15 επιζώντες και τα πτώματα των δύο παιδιών.

Επιζώντες είπαν στους διασώστες ότι το σκάφος απέπλευσε με 21 επιβάτες που σημαίνει ότι υπάρχουν δύο αγνοούμενοι, πρόσθεσε η ΜΚΟ.

Νωρίτερα, το ιταλικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων ANSA μετέδωσε ότι 15 μετανάστες διασώθηκαν και τρεις βρέθηκαν νεκροί, ενώ τρεις ακόμη αγνοούνται.
