Flights Halted at Ronald Reagan National Airport After Plane Crash

Search and rescue teams are searching for survivors after a small plane crashed into the Potomac River in Arlington, Virginia, near the Ronald Reagan National Airport on Wednesday night.
“A multi-agency search and rescue operation is underway in the Potomac River after aircraft crash,” the D.C. Police Department said.
The department said on X that a helicopter was also involved in the crash.
D.C. Fire and the Emergency Medical Services said that police are investigating the crash.
All flights at the airport have been temporarily halted for search and rescue efforts in the river.
Authorities said it is still unclear what caused the plane to crash or how many people were on board. Fireboats were on the scene….
