Given Monday’s big political news, engaged Canadians might be asking, as in the old country song, how we can miss Justin Trudeau if he won’t go away? But let’s spare some thought for how we can welcome Pierre Poilievre, the radical reformer, if he won’t show up, especially given his recent alarming interview with Jordan Peterson.
It certainly alarmed the Laurentian elite. One self-appointed guardian of decency called Peterson a “disgraced personality,” while Marc Miller, a chronological adult and cabinet minister, called Peterson and Poilievre “these two greasy walruses,” both putdowns as classy as they were clever….
