Trump Selects Sean Curran to Lead US Secret Service

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the appointment of Sean Curran as the next director of the United States Secret Service.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump commended Curran’s 23-year law enforcement career and his role in protecting the Trump family.
“Sean has distinguished himself as a brilliant leader, who is capable of directing and leading operational security plans for some of the most complex Special Security Events in the History of our Country, and the World,” Trump stated.
Curran’s selection comes in the wake of criticism faced by the Secret Service following two assassination attempts on Trump during his presidential campaign in 2024.
