President-elect Donald Trump announced on Friday that he has tapped former environmental consultant Ed Russo to lead an environmental advisory task force, which will be formed in his incoming administration.
Trump stated that the task force will advise his administration “on initiatives to create great jobs and protect our natural resources” that are aligned with his “policy of clean air and clean water.”
The group will be led by Russo, whom the president-elect described as an “environmental expert.”
“Together, we will achieve American Energy DOMINANCE, rebuild our Economy, and DRILL, BABY, DRILL,” Trump stated on his Truth Social platform.
Russo previously served as an environmental consultant for the Trump Organization. He also authored a book titled, “Donald J. Trump, An Environmental Hero,” published in 2016, which chronicled his time as an environmental adviser to Trump….
