Chinese communist regime leader Xi Jinping has chosen not to attend U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration next week and will instead send deputy leader Han Zheng to Washington as his special representative, Beijing’s foreign ministry said in a Jan. 17 statement.
“We stand ready to work with the new U.S. government to enhance dialogue and communication,” a ministry spokesperson said.
The Chinese regime is prepared to find “the right way for the two countries to get along with each other in a new era.”
Xi spoke with Trump by phone on Friday, with the two leaders exchanging views on international and regional issues such as the “Ukraine crisis and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict” and agreeing to establish “a strategic communication channel,” according to China’s foreign ministry….
