Ο Ολυμπιακός φιλοξενεί στο κατάμεστο «Γ. Καραϊσκάκης» την ΑΕΚ, στο πλαίσιο του πρώτου ημιτελικού μεταξύ των δύο ομάδων για τον θεσμό του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδος.

Οι οπαδοί των Κυπελλούχων Ευρώπης έχουν δημιουργήσει μία «καυτή» ατμόσφαιρα, γεμίζοντας από νωρίς το φαληρικό γήπεδο για να στηρίξει το σύνολο του Χοσέ Λουίς Μεντιλίμπαρ σε αυτή την κρίσιμη αναμέτρηση.

Πριν την έναρξη του αγώνα οι υποστηρικτές των γηπεδούχων ανάρτησαν πανό εν όψει της συμπλήρωσης δύο χρόνων από τη σιδηροδρομική τραγωδία των Τεμπών, την ερχόμενη Παρασκευή (28/2). Το πανό έγραφε: «57 ψυχές ζητούν δικαίωση».

Επίσης, κρατήθηκε ενός λεπτού σιγή πριν την έναρξη του παιχνιδιού στη μνήμη των 57 αδικοχαμένων θυμάτων, των οποίων οι ψυχές ακόμα δεν έχουν δικαιωθεί…
