Blue Horizon: Στη φυλακή με βαριές ποινές ο ύπαρχος και ο καπετάνιος για τον θάνατο του Αντώνη Καργιώτη

Ποινή κάθειρξης  12 ετών και έξι μηνών επέβαλε το Μικτό Ορκωτό Δικαστήριο Πειραιά στον ύπαρχο που έσπρωξε τον Αντώνη Καργιώτη από τον καταπέλτη του πλοίου  με αποτέλεσμα το θάνατο του.

Στον πλοίαρχο του πλοίου επιβλήθηκε ποινή κάθειρξης 7 ετών και πέντε μηνών.

«Έσπασαν» τα ισόβια

Το δικαστήριο αναγνώρισε το ελαφρυντικό του σύννομου βίου και για τους δύο κατηγορούμενους, σπάζοντας έτσι τα ισόβια δεσμά που επισύρουν τόσο η ανθρωποκτονία από πρόθεση όσο και η διατάραξη ασφάλειας συγκοινωνιών πλοίου, με αποτέλεσμα το θάνατο.

Και οι δύο κατηγορούμενοι μετά την καταδίκη τους οδηγούνται στη φυλακή καθώς το δικαστήριο απέρριψε το αίτημα για αναστολη της ποινής μέχρις ότου εκδικαστεί η υπόθεση σε δεύτερο βαθμό.
