Trump Pauses Tariffs After Canada, Mexico Promise Border Changes; Panama Vows to Not Renew China Initiative After U.S. Visit

President Donald Trump has agreed to pause tariffs on Canada for 30 days after talking with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the afternoon of Feb. 3.  This comes after Mexico agreed to make changes at the border, which also resulted in Trump pausing their tariffs.
Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino said on Feb. 2 that his country will not renew its memorandum of understanding with the Chinese regime to be a part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
