President Donald Trump has said Palestinians removed from the Gaza Strip as part of his plan to rebuild the war-torn territory will not be guaranteed a right to return to their homes.
Sitting for an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier on Feb. 9, Trump discussed a wide range of topics, including his recent proposal for the United States to assume control over the Gaza Strip. The president said an estimated 1.9 million Gazans would be relocated to some nearby communities.
“We’ll build beautiful communities, safe Communities—could be five, six, could be two. But we’ll build safe communities a little bit away from where they are, where all of this danger is,” Trump said….
