Σοκ στο Ρέντη, με την Ιωάννα Πολυνοπούλου της ΑΕΚ να τραυματίζεται σοβαρά στο τέλος του τέταρτου σετ στο παιχνίδι με τον Ολυμπιακό, για την Volley League Γυναικών.

Στο 24-23 υπέρ του Ολυμπιακού, η παίκτρια της Ένωσης προσπάθησε να κάνει μπλοκ, αλλά κατά την προσγείωσή της πάτησε το πόδι της συμπαίκτριάς της και τραυματίστηκε σοβαρά. Η Πολυνοπούλου τραυματίστηκε στο αριστερό πόδι, με την κεντρική της Ένωσης να σφαδάζει από τον πόνο και τις παίκτριες των δύο ομάδων να ξεσπούν σε κλάματα.

Έφυγε με φορείο για το νοσοκομείο

Αμέσως το ιατρικό τιμ της ΑΕΚ έσπευσε στο σημείο, με Πολυνοπούλου να αποχωρεί με φορείο και τον κόσμο στις κερκίδες να την καταχειροκροτεί. Μετά από αρκετά λεπτά το παιχνίδι συνεχίστηκε, με την ΑΕΚ να παίρνει το τέταρτο σετ με 28-26 και να ισοφαρίζει σε 2-2 την αναμέτρηση, στέλνοντας το ματς στο τάι μπρέικ.
