Νεκρός εντοπίστηκε το πρωί του Σαββάτου 1 Μαρτίου ΕΠΟΠ επιλοχίας που υπηρετούσε σε μονάδα της Αλεξανδρούπολης.

Ο 46χρονος τραυματίστηκε θανάσιμα με υπηρεσιακό τυφέκιο, ευρισκόμενος εντός του Στρατοπέδου, σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του Γενικού Επιτελείου Στρατού.

Όσα αναφέρει το ΓΕΣ:

«Από το Γενικό Επιτελείο Στρατού ανακοινώνεται ότι, κατά τις πρωινές ώρες του Σαββάτου 01 Μαρτίου 2025, o ΕΠΟΠ Επιλοχίας (ΔΒ) Σ.Σ., ο οποίος υπηρετούσε σε Μονάδα της Αλεξανδρούπολης, 46 ετών, τραυματίστηκε θανάσιμα με υπηρεσιακό τυφέκιο, ευρισκόμενος εντός του Στρατοπέδου.

Τα αίτια του συμβάντος διερευνώνται αρμοδίως.

Το Γενικό Επιτελείο Στρατού εκφράζει τα ειλικρινή του συλλυπητήρια στους οικείους του».
