Climate Regulations Reversed
The United States’ environmental regulatory body has reversed a series of regulations related to climate change.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under President Donald Trump’s newly appointed head, Lee Zeldin, has reversed 31 climate-based actions, including electric vehicle mandates, that he called “the largest deregulatory announcement in U.S. history.”
Zeldin accused the regulations as being too restrictive and costly for consumers and businesses, holding that his actions will bring down the cost of living, make cars more affordable, and bring back American jobs.
Environmental activists have vowed to take action.
