Tech billionaire Elon Musk on Monday said that an outage impacting his social media platform, X, is being caused by a “massive cyberattack” that is ongoing.
On Monday, tens of thousands of reports were submitted to DownDetector saying they could not access the X app or website or they could not access posts.
In response, Musk wrote midday Monday: “There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources.”
“Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved,” the Tesla and SpaceX CEO wrote, adding that his company is “tracing” the attacks. The Epoch Times could not immediately authenticate Musk’s claims….
