Trump Appoints Alina Habba as Interim US Attorney for New Jersey

President Donald Trump has announced that Alina Habba, counselor to the president, will step in as interim U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey, effective immediately.
“Alina will lead with the same diligence and conviction that has defined her career, and she will fight tirelessly to secure a Legal System that is both ‘Fair and Just’ for the wonderful people of New Jersey,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on March 24.
Habba, 40, succeeds John Giordano in the role of interim U.S. attorney.
