A father, mother and five-year-old daughter have been confirmed as three of the 11 victims killed when a vehicle rammed through a crowd at a festival in Vancouver on Saturday.
Toan Le says his brother Richard Le, his sister-in-law Linh Hoang and their five-year-old daughter Katie Le were killed while attending the Lapu Lapu Day festival.
Le says the family leaves behind their 16-year-old son, Andy, who didn’t go to the event on Saturday.
He says his brother sent a text to his son around 8 p.m. Saturday, saying they would be home soon, but the family learned later that night that Richard had been killed, and detectives confirmed Sunday that Linh and Katie also died….
