A National Day of Prayer is planned for Ottawa with the aim of bringing the country together to pray for its needs as well as its leaders, organizers say.
The July 12 event will be the first of its kind, and organizers say they are expecting about 3,000 people to gather on Parliament Hill to pray together.
Faytene Grasseschi, an entrepreneur, humanitarian advocate, and one of the organizers of the National Day of Prayer, said online national prayer calls started during COVID while everyone was locked down.
“We just invited people from all across Canada just to hop on a Zoom call and pray for the nation,” she told The Epoch Times in a phone interview….
