President Donald Trump has threatened to impose a 25 percent tariff on Apple for any iPhones sold, but not manufactured, in the United States. Trump also said he would recommend a 50 percent tariff on the European Union to begin on June 1, which would result in stiff levies on luxury items, pharmaceuticals, and other goods produced by European manufacturers.
Harvard University took legal action against the Trump administration on Friday over its decision to revoke the Ivy League school’s ability to enroll international students. The college said it plans to file a temporary restraining order to block the Department of Homeland Security from carrying out the measure. Harvard enrolls almost 6,800 foreign students at its campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Most are graduate students and hail from more than 100 countries….
