Last year, the presence of the ERT president and his advisor in the Eurovision delegation sparked intense backlash and harsh criticism. They were accused of unnecessary expenses and unjustified involvement in an artistic mission. This year, however, the president’s new advisor traveled with the delegation without causing the slightest stir. What changed in just one year? Were there indeed changes in management and communication, or has public opinion simply grown tired of dealing with ERT? Could there be selective sensitivity in the media? In any case, this year’s silence is louder than last year’s outcry. Someone owes the public an explanation.
