On July 1, Canada will turn 158, and people from coast to coast are planning to celebrate.
Here are six of the top Canada Day celebrations across the country.
St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
Canada Day celebrations start early on the East Coast, with a sunrise ceremony at Signal Hill National Historic Site from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Following the event, an early morning treat in the form of birthday cupcakes will be offered at the Signal Hill Visitor Centre.
Family fun will begin at King George V Park starting at 1 p.m. and run until 5 p.m.
