Contact Lenses, Baby High Chairs Recalled Across Canada

Acuvue contact lenses and Funlio convertible baby high chairs are being recalled across the country due to defects found in both products, Health Canada says.
Johnson & Johnson has recalled several models of its popular Acuvue contact lenses due to a flaw that could cause “visual disturbances.”
The company voluntarily recalled 13 models of its Acuvue Oasys Max 1-day Multifocal contact lenses due to a “high density” of microbubbles, a June 20 Health Canada recall notice says.
The recall was issued on June 12 after microbubbles were observed within the contact lenses from specific lots. The microbubbles do not cause medical harm, but may cause “visual disturbances,” especially in low-light conditions, the advisory says….
