President Donald Trump criticised Israel on Tuesday for its military response in the wake of a cease-fire deal and accused both Israel and Iran of violating the agreement just hours after he had announced it. Before departing for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump urged both sides to “calm down.” Trump said that Israel will abide by the cease-fire.
“ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” he wrote on Truth Social.
