The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meets at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta on June 25–26.
The ACIP comprises leading medical and public health experts that advise the CDC on the safety, effectiveness, and clinical necessity of vaccines. On June 9, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced a clean sweep of ACIP to reestablish public confidence in vaccine science. The CDC removed the 17 sitting members of ACIP and replaced them with eight new members.
On Day 1, the meeting starts at 10 a.m. and ends around 5:30 p.m. ET on June 25.
