President Donald Trump is traveling to Scotland on Friday as his family’s business prepares for the Aug. 13 opening of a new golf course in Aberdeenshire, billed as “the greatest 36 holes in golf.” While there, Trump will talk trade with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The Trump administration has approved CBS parent company Paramount Global’s $8 billion merger with Skydance, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr announced on Thursday. Carr said the changes would “represent an important step toward earning back Americans’ trust” in the media conglomerate, and warned Paramount’s new owner that his agency “will be watching.”
