National consumer electronics retailer Best Buy on Aug. 19 announced the launch of its new digital marketplace, BestBuy.com, which the company reports will more than double the current number of products available to online consumers.
In a company statement, the Minnesota-based retail giant said it will be adding entirely new brands, categories, and products for customers.
Powered by French tech company Mirakl’s technology, Best Buy Marketplace represents the company’s largest-ever expansion, adding products from hundreds of new brands in new categories, including seasonal décor, automotive tech, home, and office, as well as music and movies.
