U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued an arrest warrant Thursday for an illegal immigrant and member of the Tren de Aragua gang who allegedly killed a woman in Aurora, Colorado.
“The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged an arrest detainer against Michel Jordan Castellano Fonseca, a criminal illegal alien from Venezuela with ties to Tren de Aragua (TdA),” DHS said in an Aug. 7 press release.
ICE arrest warrants are legal requests to state or local authorities to hold illegal immigrants in custody and turn them over to immigration authorities.
On Aug. 3, Castellano Fonseca, 30, allegedly broke into an apartment and shot two women—his sister-in-law and his wife—in front of five children present at the home. …
