Lyle Menendez was denied parole on Friday, just a day after his brother Erik was also refused a release from prison following the 1989 killing of their parents in Southern California.

Lyle appeared virtually from the San Diego prison before a panel of parole commissioners, who are different than the ones who handled his brother’s hearings.
This story will be updated with additional details.
