Man Arrested in Alleged Bomb Threat at Dallas ICE Field Office

A man was arrested after allegedly making a bomb threat in person on Monday at a federal immigration facility in Dallas.
Bratton Dean Wilkinson, 36, a U.S. citizen, claimed to have a bomb in his backpack when he appeared at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Dallas Field Office at about 6:37 p.m. local time on Aug. 25, officials said.
Wilkinson showed what he claimed to be a detonator on his wrist to a security officer at the reporting entrance, prompting the officer to call 911. Wilkinson was taken into custody by local law enforcement and charged with making terrorist threats.
“These incidents come after months of smears and rhetoric by activists, politicians, and the media comparing ICE law enforcement to the Nazi Gestapo, kidnappers, and the Secret Police,” a senior official for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement about this arrest and previous episodes….
