The RCMP has issued a nationwide warrant for a 29-year-old woman in connection with a 2023 murder in Fort McMurray, Alta.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has charged Victoria Sheila Elizabeth Hillard with second-degree murder in the death of 42-year-old Mark O’Keefe.
Police across the country have been asked to be on the lookout for Hillard who is currently believed to be in the greater Toronto area, the Mounties said in a Sept. 21 press release.
RCMP officers responded to a report of a “suspicious death” on Parsons Access Road near the Highway 63 turn-off in Fort McMurray on Dec. 12, 2023, just after 10 a.m., police said in a release at the time.
