President Donald Trump joined Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders on a call on Thursday about the war in Ukraine. According to a statement from a White House official, during the call, Trump pressed European leaders to halt purchases of Russian oil that are funding the conflict and urged them to place economic pressure on Beijing for supporting the Kremlin’s war effort. Zelenskyy also announced that 26 countries have agreed to provide Ukraine with security guarantees.
