NTD’s 11th Classical Chinese Dance Competition Kicks Off

The first rounds of NTD’s 11th International Classical Chinese Dance Competition were underway at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in Chester, New York. Marking the start of four days of world-class performances, junior male and female contestants—some just 13 years old—took the stage, bringing to life an art form rooted in 5,000 years of tradition. Each contestant performs a short dance routine along with a set of required movements, demonstrating leaps, spins, and classical technique.
