An RCMP assistant commissioner in British Colombia has been charged with three counts of assault and has been temporarily re-assigned.
The BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) announced the charges against Assistant Commissioner David Teboul on Sept. 19.
BCPS said the alleged offences occurred on July 2 in Abbotsford while Teboul was off-duty.
He was charged on Sept. 18 with one count of assault and one count of assault by choking in relation to one complainant. A separate count of assault in relation to a second complainant was also filed. The victim’s identities are covered by a publication ban.
The BCPS said no further details would be released about the case….
