A woman has been charged with attempted kidnapping after allegedly trying to snatch a 4-year-old child as she played in the front yard of her home in Fontana, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
A deputy responding to the attempted kidnapping report arrived at the home to find the child’s mother and father holding down the woman, described as erratic, just after 6 p.m. on Sept. 21.
Sariaha Hannah Lopez, 23, attacked the mother and attempted to forcibly take the child from the front yard, the department said in a statement on Sept. 23.
The mother and father pinned down Lopez, who authorities described as erratic, until deputies arrived….
