The U.S. Department of Justice will review the Biden administration’s use of an autopen for thousands of pardons, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed Tuesday.
The news of an official probe comes hours after the U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released a 91-page report that alleged President Joe Biden’s staff hid his declining mental state and used his official signature to pardon 4,245 people.
“We look forward to working alongside [the committee] to deliver accountability for the American people,” Bondi stated in a post on X.
