WASHINGTON—When Google removed Univision from its YouTube TV streaming service, President Donald Trump came to the network’s defense, urging the tech giant to reverse its decision, warning that failing to do so could hurt Republicans in the midterm elections.
On Sept. 30, Google-owned YouTube TV dropped Univision, one of America’s top Spanish-language broadcasters, from its platform after the two sides failed to reach a deal.
