Broccoli florets sold under the brand “Your Fresh Market” have been recalled across six provinces due to potential salmonella contamination, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The CFIA recall notice dated Nov. 28 said the affected products were distributed in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.
The notice said the affected products are the 907-gram packages of the broccoli florets with best-by date Nov. 26, 2025. Consumers can identify the products via UPC code 6 27735 27054 8 and lot number 25318.
While the federal agency says there have been no reported illnesses associated with consumption of the product, it said it is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to the recall of other products.
