The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for a brand of enoki mushrooms in Alberta and British Columbia.
The recall, issued on Nov. 17, is for Baekdu Peak branded enoki mushroom products. The agency says independent testing found the products may have potential listeria contamination.
The recall involves 200 grams packages of the mushrooms with the UPC code 9 90016 90034 3.
The warning advises customers not to consume, sell, or distribute the mushrooms.
Customers are asked to throw out the recalled products or return them to the store where they were purchased.
The recall comes 10 days after another brand of enoki mushrooms were recalled over listeria concerns….
