‘Highly Pathogenic’ Form of Avian Flu Identified at 4 Strathroy-Caradoc Properties, CFIA Says

A highly pathogenic form of avian flu has spread to four properties outside of London, Ont., according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The agency has issued notices on its website about the virus’s presence at four commercial properties in the Strathroy-Caradoc area.  The first notice was dated Nov. 14, with the rest dated on Nov. 22, Nov. 26, and Nov. 28.
The agency has established a “primary control zone” to prevent the spread of the disease. Such zones require permits for the movement of birds, their products, and by-products through a control zone, according to the CFIA.
The Epoch Times attempted to contact CFIA but did not immediately hear back….
